Welcome to "I Love My Colors," a vibrant and expressive collection within my Digital Nightscapes series. This collection emerged from a moment of vulnerability and introspection, capturing the essence of my intuitive creativity and the multifaceted nature of my life.
About the Collection:
"I Love My Colors" is a special subset within my broader Digital Nightscapes series. One night, feeling powerless and disconnected from my intuition, I sought solace in my creative process. I turned to the Notes app on my iPhone in dark mode, embracing the freedom of digital art. Without fear of making mistakes, I began drawing circles with highlighters and crayons, creating clusters of colors that flowed naturally from my mind to the screen. That night, a new series was born.
This collection is a testament to the power of spontaneous creativity and the exploration of queer identity. Inspired by the audacity and vulnerability of artists like Troye Sivan, who embody a unique aesthetic and share their personal stories with the world, "I Love My Colors" delves into themes of romantic queerness, polyamory, and the rich tapestry of LGBTQIA+ experiences. Through this collection, I explore my romantic queerness and the struggle to hold my truth within a culture of mononormativity.

After naming the first piece "I Love My Colors," I realized I wanted to empower others who seek solidarity with me and embrace their own unique colors. This collection is a celebration of our vibrant identities and the beautiful spectrum of experiences within our community.
I intentionally chose different shapes, volumes, and colors for each artwork to reflect the diversity and individuality of queer lives. Each piece embodies a sense of pride, resilience, and the courage to be authentic in a world that often challenges our true selves.
The fluidity and variety in the artwork symbolize the many facets of queer identities, from gender expression and sexual orientation to the rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds. The pieces also explore the dynamics of polyamorous relationships, capturing the essence of love beyond traditional norms. Each piece is imperfect and perfect at the same time, just like all of us. It’s a reminder that our imperfections are what make us unique and powerful.
