個展について

伊賀の隠れ家、こげら文庫で開催されるLily Okamotoの個展「東西右左 -豊穣と旅の季節-」。この個展は、15年の時を経て帰郷したリリーの故郷で繰り広げられる。

この展覧会は、リリー自身の経験を映し出す旅へとあなたを誘い、彼女の故郷である伊賀とフランスの田舎町 Eymet (エメ)を繋ぐ。

個展が開催される場所は、多くの人にとって少し不便で、予想外な場所かもしれない。個展までの道はこの個展のテーマでもあるフランス・エメへの旅で感じたものをより理解する手がかりになるかもしれません。リリーが感じた地理的な境界を超えたパラレルワールドの世界を日本の田舎町で感じることができるでしょう。

5月に白川・テレスコープ京都での展示会を終え、再び京都の街で作品を通して新たな出会いがあることに胸が高鳴ります。この機会に新たな雰囲気を楽しんだり、まだ訪れたことのないお店に足を運んでみてください。
