In life, we often lose sight of the power we possess, the ability to enact change, and the force that shapes our destiny. We are supposed to operate based on the "here" and "now" of ourselves. However, we sometimes wander between the past and the future, forgetting how to harness our own power. Through this solo exhibition, take a moment to once again feel the strength, the light and darkness, and all the energy that exists within you.
Artist Statement:
Lily let go of her 6-year career in the startup world and started her creative journey based in her hometown, Iga, Japan. With a fluid and bold artistic style, she moves back and forth between abstract painting and writing. Embracing imperfection, she seeks to liberate us from the efficiency and perfection of this world.
