Artist Statement:
Lily Okamoto, an abstract artist, focuses on 'the present moment' in her art, reflecting her life theme of 'freedom' derived from her experiences in overseas travel and the cycle of desire and release. This journey leads to a sense of 'liberation' in her work, where bold and fluid brushstrokes convey psychological safety and bravery. Post her tech career, she debuted at Telescope Kyoto and later exhibited in Iga City.
